This is a new, high profile, senior management post introduced as a key element of the Council's significant commitment, drive and investment for service improvement through its innovative Digital and Services Transformation Programme.
As Service Manager-Customer Services you will have responsibility for developing and leading the vision for ensuring customer excellence across all services including a new cross-Council service delivery model and approaches.
You will lead the focus on ensuring easy access for customers through all channels, particularly self-service and enabling customers to receive the services they require and answers they need at first point of contact.
Working in close synergy with the Digital Services team you will oversee the rapid integration of new digital services into the customer services function.
With a track record in delivering excellent customer services, you are ambitious, resilient, innovative, enthusiastic, performance driven and able to lead others, playing a key and direct role in shaping the Council's customer experience.
